Yamaha oder Ducati…? Was meinen sie…?

In diesem Beitrag widmen wir uns der „ewigen Frage“, in der sich Fans schon seit Jahren uneinig sind. Welche ist besser, Yamaha oder Ducati?

Wir trafen Herrn D.R., Besitzer einer Ducati Panigale 899 und einer Yamaha R6.

Er hat sich dazu entschlossen, das Äussere seiner Ducati auf eigene Faust zu verändern. Wir finden, dass ihm das sehr gut gelungen ist. Vom Look her ging er von der Sonderedition Ducati Panigale RS13 aus.

Und das seine schöne blaue Yamaha R6

Wir fragten ihn, was er über seine Motorräder denkt. Folgendes gab er uns zur Antwort:

“Those are two different animals, Ducati is beautiful, sounds amazing, its obnoxious, it is loud, absolutely gorgeous, but definitely would not chose it to go to the racetrack. The Yamaha is precise, the power delivery is very controllable, it also sounds beautiful but the engine is very different. The Ducati has a V2 engine and the Yamaha R6 an inline 4 engine. The chassis of the R6 is very different, it corners much more precisely and you feel in control. It’s easier to trail brake with the Yamaha and the power delivery is more gentle. The Ducati has a more aggressive engine response resulting in a jerk when you open the throttle. When you are leaned over it’s the last thing you want on your rear tyre“.
